About Western Fairs
Improving fairs by providing education, communication, and advocacy, as well as by supporting professional leadership. Western Fairs is a non-profit trade association that serves the fair industry in the western United States and Canada. It was established in 1922 and became incorporated in 1945. Through a voluntary network of individuals and organizations, the association's primary objective is to assist in maintaining the highest professional standards within the fair industry. Through educational activities, training programs, and advocacy for legislation, their primary goal is to help fairs thrive. Western Fairs currently serves over 800 members who come from festivals, industry associations, fair management, and businesses related to fairs. The activities and policies of the association are overseen by a board of directors elected by this membership.
