Although most of their musicians work in fields that are unrelated to music, a number of them are professionals in the field. They come from many different ethnic groups. Even though many of them were not born in Canada, music is their common international language, and they strive to share this with you, their audience, and make your lives better. They do not disregard those who are unable to attend their concerts, even as they concentrate their efforts on their public concerts. Chamber music is brought to senior centers and community centers by a number of their musicians who volunteer to work together in small ensembles. Over sixty musicians from seven decades of age make up Nyco diverse and talented membership.
