About CVFT
CVFT was founded in 1995 by a group of former Chaska High School students who wanted to create a community theater. Since their first production of Annie, they have produced nearly a hundred productions that have been seen by thousands of people. CVFT produces several shows each season, working with a diverse group of talented local directors, designers, actors, musicians, and technicians. They currently use a variety of Carver County venues, including the Chaska Community Center. While remaining true to their core offering of musical theater, they have continued to broaden their traditional base by collaborating with local civic organizations for special events, producing occasional dramatic works, and providing opportunities for local writers to create new works. Furthermore, they provide educational opportunities for local residents throughout the year.'
