About Stoneyard Distillery
Stoneyard Distillery distillery was entirely self-built. Then, in 2014, they began producing beet sugar spirits, the name was inspired by the old stone yard that surrounded the distillery. This site was chosen for its excellent water source and is situated just above the meeting point of the Eagle and Colorado Rivers. Through a private water system, rocky mountain water is drawn straight from the river. The Dotsero Volcano's 4, 000-year-old lava flow is where the distillery is located. In the stillness that the owners personally hand-built, the lava rock serves as the vapor refining distillation packaging while the real Spirit of Colorado is distilled to create the Stoneyard Distillery spirits.
