About Rattlin' D Playhouse
Rattlin' D Playhouse was owned and operated by Drew and Julie Durrant from May 2008 to September 2012. Rattlin' D Playhouse became a destination for family-friendly musical spoofs in the Greater Yellowstone Area when the Durrants were in charge. They would squeeze in 70 summer performances between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Rob and Sherri Dias, longtime friends and patrons, approached the Durrants about opening a new dinner theater in Southern Utah and collaborating with Diamond Ranch Academy students. The birth of Ratlin' D Playhouse. A stage was all they needed now. "My Big Fat Southern Utah Christmas" opened on November 29, 2013, after the playhouse was temporarily relocated to the HURRICANE COMMUNITY CENTER in November 2013. Over the subsequent 15 years, the Playhouse has staged musical parodies. The Playhouse moved into its new permanent location on Diamond Ranch Academy's stunning campus in March 2014.
