West Brazos Golf Center is a public 9-hole course that opened in 1999. From the longest tees, West Brazos Golf Course measures 3,402 yards. There are three distinct skill levels of tees on the course. From the tee to the green, the course is completely lit. They are situated in Brazoria, Texas, where Cecil Stedman, their founding owner, was originally from. After Cecil retired in 1994, he made the decision to construct a driving range on the 15 acres and ran it until some adjoining land next to the driving range became available. As a result, the plan to construct a golf course was born. The golf course was built in December 1998, and in October 1999, the West Brazos Golf Center opened its doors. Until November 2022, the course was run by a family business.
