A rock music festival called Mid Summer Music Fest is held on 150 acres 4 miles west of Menahga, Minnesota. Established in 2019 by composer and musician Trinity Junes, a fan of festivals and an entrepreneur. The first Mid Summer Music Fest music Fest was slated to take place from July 1–3, 2020. The first-ever Mid-Summer Music Fest, with acts like Jackyl, Quiet Riot, Jack Russell's Great White, Saving Abel, and many more, was held from July 2–4, 2021, despite the Covid shutdowns. Business partners Brett Carlson, Brad Carlson, and Jackie Carlson moved in with Trinity in the fall of 2021. Brett, who has experience in business and owns a Farm Bureau financial services agency, Brad, who has experience in construction and owns a construction firm, and Jackie, who keeps things organized, are proving to be the ideal team to organize a music festival of this size and develop it into something fantastic for many years to come.
