About Michigan State Fair
Michigan State Fair is a private business that continues to expand and develop in accordance with the legacy of the original, which opened its doors in 1849. The first occasion was quite possibly the earliest statewide Reasonable to arise in the mainland USA. In 1905, the State Fair moved to the Fairgrounds at Eight Mile Road and Woodward Avenue. It stayed there until 2009, when a resolution passed by the state government forced it to end because of ongoing budget issues. A new business model for the Michigan State Fair began to emerge after several years of exploratory discussions among local leaders and elders in the state agriculture industry; one of a kind and the only one in North America. In 2013, it was held privately at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi with Fifth Third Bank serving as the title sponsor and receiving no funding from the state government.
