About Children'S Museum Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Children'S Museum Pittsburgh mission is to provide an innovative and comprehensive museum experience that inspires kindness, joy, creativity and curiosity in all learners. They connect with artists, community partners, neighbors and work with children, young people and families. Their vision is to transform education. From her new museum for teens ages 10 and up to a variety of activities and projects you can do at home, they grow to meet your needs. The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh is a place where children can embark on a fantastic flight of imagination each day and return to earth to splash in rivers, hammer nails, and color silkscreens. The museum was named one of the top 10 children's museums in the nation in 2022 by USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards. His award-winning three-story Children'S Museum Pittsburgh combines two of his historic buildings, the Allegheny Post Office Building and the Buhl Building. The central building is protected by a shimmering wind sculpture created by environmental artist Ned Kahn (Articulated Cloud).
