About Tap Social Movement
Tap Social Movement was born out of a passion for premium beer and social justice. They are a craft beer and hospitality organization that creates jobs and training for ex-convicts because they believe everyone benefits when no one is left out of the job market. It was founded in 2016 by Paul, Amy and Tess and they have experience in multiple positions in the criminal justice system, and they have all witnessed the difficulties people face when trying to turn their lives around after being exposed to the law. Lack of support and assistance in complex career paths and criminal records often prevent employers from hiring other eligible candidates at Tap Social Movement. Many of the people who work with them, especially those who have spent time in prison, struggle to gain access to education, training and employment opportunities that hinder their recovery and throw them back into a life of crime.
