Cazcanes provides natural artesian water for their tequila. On the pristine peaks of the San Pedro de los Landros mountains, the water starts with rain or snow high up. It moves slowly through the natural minerals deep in the volcanic mountains before emerging in Navichi Hot Springs. The "piñas" are then cooked and crushed to extract and concentrate their flavor. This is followed by fermentation using natural wild yeast and then distillation in their stills. Hand-selected Weber Blue Lowland (Tequila Valley) agave is grown in 4,000-6,000 feet of volcanic tuff soil and harvested at peak sugar levels to provide the unique flavor. At Cazcanes, they oversee every step of the process with great attention to detail to help create a tequila that stands above all else.
