About Ploughman Cider
Ploughman Cider is as distinct as the location in which it was created. Their orchards in Adams County, Pennsylvania, one of the best places in the country to grow fruit, have been managed by the Wenk family for more than a century. The cider's apples vary slightly from year to year, adding layers of complexity and a sense of connection to the farm. Here on Ploughman Cider, they are open to trying new things and have a frontier mindset, but they always keep authenticity and quality in mind. Although they are not purists, they will never use engineered flavors, essences, or other artificial ingredients. Their eagerness to try new things is almost entirely based on their farm, where they use whatever is exceptional and abundant that year.
