About Sue Mclean
The respected and independent concert promoter Sue McLean established Sue Mclean. For a number of decades, Sue was an essential member of the live music community. Her career in the music industry began in the middle of the 1970s as a booking agent for Curtiss A and The Suicide Commandos. She then became the in-house talent buyer for Duffy's Nightclub, where she worked until the early 1990s as Special Events Director. Sue started Triad Entertainment, which later became Compass Entertainment, by the middle of the 1990s. In 1998, she started her own independent concert promotions company, SMA. She served as President of SMA until her untimely death in 2013 and paved the way for female industry leaders. Sue Mclean is still a female-owned and operated business that is dedicated to honoring Sue's legacy through relationship management and business operations that are in line with Sue's ideals and values.
