Seether is a South African musical crew established in 1999 in Pretoria, Gauteng. The band initially performed under the name "Saron Gas" until 2002, when they moved to the United States and transformed it to their own name to stay away from disarray with the destructive compound known as sarin gas. They are the band's longest serving part, bassist Dale Stewart joined soon after development while drummer John Humphrey went along with them for the band's subsequent collection.
