The company's main restaurant owners, Chris Sedgwick and Michelle Sedgwick, are longtime residents of Alletta and successful owners in Atlanta who are looking for a new way to express their style and love of food. They found the inspiration they had been looking for with them to take a real Mexican taqueria. The original Pure Taqueria opened in Aleita, Georgia on the site of an abandoned 1920s pure fuel station.
