"1953" is Rare Hare first product release, paying homage to the year Playboy was founded. This 17-year-old straight bourbon whiskey was completed in Cognac barrels from France's Champagne region and bottled at 111 proof. Due to the whiskey's scarcity, just 1,953 bottles were made. Rare Hare 1953 exemplifies Playboy Spirits' artistry, refinement, and passion. Members of the their society get unique access to premium vacation experiences, events, private barrel stocks, and other benefits. At the moment, membership is limited to owners of the 1953 centennial release. Maturity and dried fruit notes with caramelized nectarine and mild clove. Medium-bodied, with subtle herbaceous and creamed corn aromas, as well as faint oak and baking spices. Long-lasting on the tongue, with never-ending caramel and a sweet finish.
