The third generation proprietors of Mobilia Fruit Farms, Nick and Kathy Mobilia, started pressing grapes into juice for wineries in North East, PA, in 1980. It wasn't until 1998 that Nick realized there was a demand for a product that he had complete control over, leading to the founding of Arrowhead Wine. It was agreed that Mobilia Fruit Farms would take the additional step and start producing the wine on their own because they had the expertise and experience of handling grapes. They were after all already cultivating the various fruit and wine grape types that are now utilized in their fruit beverages. From planting and harvesting to pressing, maturing, and packaging, every step of the process is under complete management at Arrowhead Wine Cellars.
