Predatory Plants is owned and operated by long-term carnivorous plant enthusiast Joshua Brown. His first experience with these fascinating plants was his 7th grade science fair project, where he tested the effects of vegetarian diets on carnivorous plants by feeding cloaks. The study was a success, and since then he has maintained a variety of carnivores. After earning a degree in human biology from Stanford University, Josh went to a small startup in Silicon Valley to build a health care search engine called Medstory. Predatory Plants's store is located in Half Moon Bay, California. The address and opening hours can be found at the bottom of the home page. Their breeding greenhouse is located in San Francisco, California. It is worth mentioning that they strongly oppose the practice of wild collection.
