In January 1993, Heritage House Coffee opened as the very first coffee shop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They have continued to expand as a small, family-owned business ever since. The store's first owners opened it with just a few pastries and a few pumps of coffee. The cafe continued to expand and offer gifts to their customers even as the owners changed over time. The third and current owner took over in 2005. Even though Rebekah didn't know much about coffee, she could tell a good cup of joe from a bad one. Heritage House Coffee has grown into the business it is today, serving cafe lunches, full-service dinner, a selection of assorted teas, a selection of fresh, made-from-scratch baked goods, and more than 40 different coffees from around the world.
