About Zoofriends
In 1954, the Oklahoma Zoological Society established a non-profit organization to help support the mission of the Oklahoma City Zoo. Zoofriends became the primary destination for Oklahoma to connect humans and the world's disappearing wildlife and wildlife. Ground. It has been under the influence of the OKC Zoo to promote the experience of members and visitors to enjoy and connect to wildlife, nature and the environment. This is achieved through fundraising, animal friend membership and special events. It is proud to donate 100% of their membership fees to the zoo for special projects, animal habitats, education, animal welfare and conservation initiatives locally and around the world. Zoofriends is an independent entity of the OKC Zoo, managed by the Board of Directors. It is a fully recognized member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association and the American Museum Association and is recognized as a botanical garden.
