Windy City Playhouse is a professional theater non-profit organization located on the northwest side of Chicago. Premiere in March 2015 with a mission to present contemporary, relevant and accessible art, Windy City Playhouse has quickly become the backbone of the Chicago theatre scene. In 2018, it's out of control hit, immersed in the southern Gothic, solidified theater as a Chicago theater for a class of spectator experience. In 2019, the south of the Windy City Playground opened in the South Ring Road car area. This second satellite venue (designed to showcase the immersive drama experience) further promotes the theater's goals and enables the theatre to cross this great city. It is a professional theatre designed to entertain through a special contemporary, relevant and accessible art. They combine trusted materials with high-quality art to create works that audiences can reach. In this goal, they created the theater as a space for the audience to linger before and after the performance – a place to decompress with art.
