About Stamna
Stamna was founded in February 2008 by Alex and Angela Nissirios from Karpathos a small island in the southeastern Aegean Sea in Greece. Alex discovered that an authentic Greek restaurant in northern New Jersey was missing, where there were traditional Greek dishes made at home; he did not hesitate to seize the opportunity to create Stamner. From the first week that Stamna was opened to the public, it has received and will continue to receive a large number of excellent reviews from various magazines and news media including but not limited to: Zagat, New York Times, etc. They look forward to serving the Bloomfield community and surrounding towns for many years.
