About Central Kitchen
Central Kitchen is a restaurant in the mission district of San Francisco that USES locally sourced ingredients from northern California to cook its food. The seasonally driven menu in the kitchen is provided by Thomas McNaughton, chef of flour + water and Salumeria. Seasonally driven, chef Thomas McNaughton created a daily variation menu inspired by local ingredients displayed in the industrial fashion space. Central Kitchen is dedicated to shaping northern California cuisine and using wines that enhance these flavors. They work with winemakers who farm organically and produce high-quality wines to complement the region's produce. It welcomes walk-in guests and offers seats on a first come, first served basis. Guests can add their names to the waiting list with the host upon arrival. If you would like to dine with more people, they can accommodate guests in one of their two private dining rooms.
