April 2026 Deadline — $50 Roundabout Theatre

Founded in 1965, Roundabout Theatre has grown from a small theater of 150 seats in the basement of a supermarket converted to one of the most influential theater companies, non-profit in the United States and one of the leading cultural institutions in New York City. Five stages to get on and off Broadway, Roundabout now has over a million theaters, students, educators and artists across the country and around the world. They produce familiar and little-known dramas and musicals and they have a non-profit capacity to take on artistic risks. They found talented scriptwriters and provided them with long-term artistic support to contribute to the future of classical drama. Roundabout Theatre has reduced the economic, material and cultural barriers that can hinder theatrical activity. They work with a diverse team of artists to determine which programs to consider.
