About Nbpac
Nbpac is a transformational project that has brought downtown New Brunswick's Cultural Arts District into the spotlight as the region's most exciting and dynamic performing arts hub. Nbpac has two state-of-the-art theater venues at the Elizabeth Rose Johnson and Arthur Lawrence Theaters, dedicated rehearsal studios, collaborative workspaces for arts organizations in the area, and 207 residential rental apartments and public parking. The public-private partnership between DEVCO, the City of New Brunswick, Middlesex County, Penrose, NJEDA, the New Brunswick Cultural Center, Rutgers University and the New Brunswick Parking Authority has invested more than $170 million, one of New Jersey's most significant urban development initiatives.
