2009 saw the creation of The New Jersey Renaissance Faire by T. J. Miller, John Williams, and Phil Leipf. They were drawn to Liberty Lake and Andy Pritikin as if by the enchantment of Crossford woodlands due to their shared love of Renaissance fairs as a means of touching and interacting with an audience. They were also enchanted by the magic because it was the year they attended their first Renaissance faire.
