In 1971, Molly's was founded by a husband and wife combination with the goal of introducing Nonya delicacies to the rest of the globe, expanding from a modest kitchen to a fully operational food production and store. Molly's developed a solid reputation in the market through years of arduous work and meticulous efforts. They later changed their name to Molly Nonya-Cake & Confectionery and opened their first store at Number 3 Simon Road in 1983. Then, in 1992, their production was transferred to the Defu Industrial Park, and in 1993, they transferred their store operations to BIK 104 Hougang Avenue 1, where they remain today.
