Madam Carroll, the largest registered vessel in Indiana, was built in August 1976. She was designed and built from scratch by Capt. Bill Lose. Madam Carroll’s family didn't own and operate the boat until 2012, when Tom Eckard of Logansport bought it. If the lady is on the brine, she will be listed as a ship. She is 135 feet tall and has a 36-foot beam. She is powered by a twin v-8 Detroit diesel and has a cruising speed of 10 knots. Her power is 150KVA, powered by a six-cylinder Detroit diesel engine. She was carrying 750 gallons of fresh water and 825 gallons of diesel. The ship can hold 500 passengers. The first deck features an enclosed cocktail lounge, a lounge with a 22 x 18 ft large oak dance floor, and a recently expanded 27 x 10 ft stage. It is equipped with lighting and sound system.
