About Enoree River Winery
Enoree River Winery and Winery is tucked away in the center of South Carolina's Newberry County, which the locals refer to as the "Center of the Universe." Visitors can enjoy a local wine tasting at their winery while taking in the vineyard views. Throughout the year, guests can sample a variety of Muscadine, Vinifera, fruit, and blended wines that are handcrafted seasonally. They bottle a small quantity of their wines each season for visitors to buy and enjoy at home. The Carlos and Noble Muscadines at Enoree River Winery were first planted in 2006 by the vineyard's owners, Richard and Laura LaBarre, and other family members. The vineyard covers an area of 8 acres. The proprietors sowed Herbemont and Lenoir vines in the 2009 fall season. To allow guests to unwind and sample wines, the Upper Room was constructed with a view of the vineyard. Over the years, new features have been added to improve the experience of their guests and to host outdoor wine events with live music, such as the covered porch and outdoor stage.
