Dogwoof was founded by Andy Whittaker in 2003. It is a documentary company headquartered in London, integrating production, sales and British drama distribution. So far, Dogwoof has released 28 Oscar® nominated documentaries, four of which have won awards, and the other three have won the British Academy of Film Arts Awards; famous films include the Oscar® Awards and the British Film Academy Awards "Free Solo" (2018 The UK's highest-grossing documentary), Oscar® nominated RBG, British Film Academy Awards "Kill and the Snake Fish Act".
