Del Bravo Record Shop, a family-claimed trade, set up by Salome and Diamantina Gutierrez, opened its entryways in 1966 on the west side of San Antonio. In 1951, Salome and Diamantina moved from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to San Antonio, Texas with nothing more than a dream. After beginning a family and a long time of difficult work, the couple established the Record Shop, specializing in Tejano and Conjunto Music. The primary record shop area opened its entryways at 527 United State. Hwy 90 West with as it were a modest bunch choice of vinyl records shown. By the early 1970's they opened up their moment Del Bravo Record Shop area at the corner of 24th St and Ruiz St and before long after opened their third area at the corner of 36 St and Culebra Rd.
