About Chikaratopia
Chikaratopia was founded by Mike Quackenbush and Tom Carter, a "reckless youth" in January 2002 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. After the professional debut of their first class of students in May and the birth of the Chikara organization, Carter left the company to pursue commercial interests other than professional wrestling. In March 2005, it moved from Allentown to Philadelphia and absorbed the existing CZW school in "New Alhambra", also known as the ECW Arena. Its employees were regularly supplemented by other coaches during this period, most notably Jorge Skede Rivera from Longmen/Toumon, Chris Hero, and legendary Luchad Al Pantera. By 2018, the five outstanding players in Chikaratopia had been promoted to "co-coaches": Hawarik, Fire Ant, juan francisco de Coronado, Sonny Defarge and Offedian. Together with founder Mike Quackenbush, these five veterans supervise elementary, intermediate and advanced courses every week.
