About Rockingham County Fair
Rockingham County Fair is a non-profit organization. Its first fair was held at a high school in Harrisonburg from August 31 to September 3, 1949. Many exhibitions here are organized by different organizations, such as the 4-H and FFA exhibitions held in Harrisonburg, Lacey Springs and Ed's Park in Rawley Springs in the WhiteHeat parking lot. The most famous exposition is Rockingham County Fair. From 1950 to 1951, this exposition lasted for four days; from 1952 to 1963, it lasted for five days; since 1964, the exposition has been held for six days. Currently, it is recognized as one of the leading agricultural fairs by this field.
