Dahlias, an apple orchard, and a dairy were all part of the original family farm; The syrup was only for friends and family. Bissell Maple Farm began building their maple business. After that, their family farm grew until one morning, when their mother stepped onto the porch wearing a bathrobe to be greeted by a busload of maple-lover tourists eager to tour the property.
