The Tang family immigrated to the United States from Taiwan in 1979 in order for their father to accept an invitation to become the chef of a traditional Chinese restaurant in San Jose California called Long Shing, which is located in Taipei and is one of the top restaurants in Taiwan. The family then moved to Texas and opened their first restaurant, Golden China, in Bedford and in 2002 Golden China opened a second location in Southlake, Texas. Embracing their passion for the food business to the fullest, Tangs Pacific Bistro offers some of the more exotic and authentic Asian cuisine, sushi, some South American dishes as well as Cajun seafood with a full and exclusive bar.
