Their story began in 1893, when Elmer Little & Sons began manufacturing high-end apparel and casual gloves. Elmert & Sons is a family business located in Gloversville, a small town in upstate New York. At the same time, in 1980 he created Swany America. They did this to better serve U.S. customers and launched a new glove called Freezy Freakies. In cold weather, free and freakish people change color, and they have been the most popular children's gloves in the United States for the past decade. As the story progressed, Swany America acquired Elmer Little & Sons in 1987. Elmer Little's owner and descendant, Bill Dezelson, also joined the store. Bill is an avid skier and he thinks he needs a warmer and more durable ski glove. In 1990, the shop ski department was established. Bill only wants to make the best ski gloves.
