Stagecrafters is a 501 (c)(3) not-revenue driven local area theater, gives open doors to individuals from the local area to foster their abilities and to chip in their chance to make an advancing, quality dramatic experience through its Main Stage, second Stage, and Youth Theater creations. Established in 1956, Stagecrafters has been named Best Community Theater by Hour Detroit Magazine perusers, and Best Place for Live Local Theater by Detroit Metro Times perusers. As of late, the second Stage show "Trevor" won honors at the 2017 Michigan AACTFEST in the classes of Outstanding Featured Actor, Outstanding Actor and the Golden Truck Award. Their central goal is to give an open door to individuals from the local area, in an environment of partnership, to foster their gifts and to chip in their chance to make an improving, quality dramatic experience for the local area.
