After serving in the Air Force, he began his business career at the bank, where he worked for 29 years. Skydive Carolina founded It in 1986 while working in the banking industry. Initially, the skydiving center was only open part-time, but after Danny retired from the banking industry in 1994, he opened the Carolina Skydiving Center from 1974 to 1981. One of his most memorable skydivings was on the USS Yorktown in Charleston, South Carolina, which made him one of the first skydivers to board an aircraft carrier.
