About Shuman's Bakery
In 2009, Shuman's Bakery created a Facebook page that briefly described the establishment and location of Schumann Bakery and attached some old photos of Schumann. Without any promotion, Shuman's Bakery soon discovered that they had more than 100 fans, many of whom fondly recalled Schumann's bakery, especially Schumann's jelly cake. Inspired by their comments, they established L. Shuman and Sons LLC to bring this bakery back online. They re-established the Schumann family to continue and carry forward the family tradition. They continue to make Schumann's jelly cakes from the original family recipes, using only the best ingredients. Time and time again, they sought advice and support from cousins Lonny and Teddy Marchant, and they have been grateful for their help in their efforts to continue this family baking tradition.
