About Sass Winery
Small vineyards flourish on land once thought unsuitable for anything but grasses and Christmas trees, tucked away in Oregon's fertile Willamette Valley. Grapes from the struggling vines gradually ripen over the course of the long, dry summer, producing tight clusters each year. The fruit develops layers of flavor and aroma that result in outstanding wines thanks to the hazy, warm days and cool nights of autumn as well as the significant temperature variation between day and night. One such establishment is Sass Winery, which produces small quantities of high-quality, handcrafted pinot noir, pinot blanc, pinot gris, chardonnay, riesling, sauvignon blanc, and gamay noir rose. Initially, Sass Winery only produced a few hundred cases of wine; currently, they produce approximately 3, 500.
