Jet boat excursions based on nature are available on Oregon's Wild and Scenic Rogue River. Rogue Jets trips combine adventurous whitewater jet boating with rugged scenery, abundant wildlife, and a Pacific coastal estuary. Their success can be attributed to the Rogue Jets River Canyon's natural setting. The Wild &amp, to set aside river corridors with their immediate environments possess outstandingly remarkable scenic, recreational, geologic, fish and wildlife, historic, cultural, or similar values, reads the Scenic Rivers Act of 1968. The Rogue River received the designation Wild &amp. One of the original eight rivers in the United States, this stunning resource is managed by them in collaboration with the U. S. Forest Service. Under the direction of the United States Forest Service, jet boat tours are offered on the lower 52 miles of the River from May 1 through October 15.
