About Pshares
Since 1971, Pshares has been a reputable publisher of literature. Their literary blog is active every day, and their award-winning literary journal is published four times a year. They have been headquartered at Emerson College in the heart of Boston since 1989. The Plough and Stars Irish Pub in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which takes its name from Sean O'Casey's well-known drama "The Plough and the Stars" about the freedom of Ireland, is where Pshares was first established. A few regulars in the pub at the beginning of the 1970s launched their own tiny revolution. Their main worry was that traditional publishing was ignoring the writing of a new generation of writers, which was indicative of a seismic shift in the culture at the moment. They made the decision to produce a journal as a solution to the issue so that they may continue their modern literary conversations outside of their usual hangout.
