Powder House Lodge has always been a fixed facility in Montenegro, known for its unique atmosphere, delicious food and pleasant environment. It also has a rich personal history. They can't tell you how many guests came to tell them that they spent their honeymoon here 50 years ago and how they lived in cabins on the mountain. Or how many people came in and said that they worked as waiters or salad bar waiters in the summer when they went to college in the 60s and 70s, or they lived in the small apartment upstairs, or in the small dormitory across the road. When they walk into the restaurant or when they let them go back to the kitchen, their faces will light up, which is amazing. Powder House Lodge thank you for this history and promise to all those who have fond memories of their hometown that they are now talking about, they will continue to work hard to keep the spirit of the Gunpowder House strong in the years to come.
