UCLA students created Outfest in 1982, Outfest is the first-rate organization which improves LGBTQ equality by founding, sharing and defending LGBTQ stories on the screen. It finds community by connecting all kinds of populations to look, discuss and have a fun storie of LGBTQ lives. Over the past three decades it has made thousands of films from around the global, educated and helped hundreds of emerging filmmakers and defended more than 20,000 LGBTQ films and videos.
