About Citizens United Movies
Since 2004, Citizens United Movies has created 27 provocative and informative documentaries, including the critically acclaimed Ronald Reagan: Rendezvous with Destiny and the Newt and Callista Gingrich-hosted Nine Days That Changed the World. Other significant films include Generation Zero, Border War, Perfect Valor, with the late Fred Thompson, The Gift of Life, with Mike Huckabee, and Hillary the Movie, which served as the impetus for Citizens United Movies victory for free speech rights in the U.S. Supreme Court. Traveling across the country in 1831, French author Alexis de Tocqueville noted that America was a unique country with a unique place in history. In contrast to Europe, where a person's social standing defined who they were as a citizen, Tocqueville claimed that America was a young republic where the "American Creed" was one of liberty, equality, individualism, and laissez-faire economics.
