This is the spirit of Okc Memorial Marathon, made up of two businessmen who outline this inspiring activity in their morning run. A group of volunteer presidents and Oklahoma city national memorial and museum staff lead a volunteer force that plans and implements weekend events to maximize the benefit to the memorial and museum. Since the first race began in 2001, only 5,000 participants have participated in the event, which now hosts more than 24,000 runners and walkers from every state and several foreign countries. Their mission is to celebrate life, to reach into the future, to honor the memory of the victims and to fill the world with hope. This isn't just a marathon. This is the run to remember...
