De Soto Sport designed the shape of the diving suit based on the swimmer's arms up and one arm up, rather than standing on one side. They then created their own algorithms for optimal comfort, performance, fit and size. The algorithm is based on the measured dimensions of more than 60 parts of the human body. Since their two-piece concept already allows for greater shoulder freedom than any one-piece wetsuit, the best result is to design a pullover that is based on the arm up and forward.
