When they were growing up, their mom was a welcome guest at dinner parties, as that meant she would bring a dish to share. At home, their friends scavenge leftovers in the refrigerator. So when they decide to bring Indian food to people in a new way, they just have to look to their mom. They've been in the kitchen with her for months, taking notes and translating recipes from "a little bit of this and that" so they can bring you fresh, home-cooked Indian food fast. They opened Naanstop as a food truck in Los Angeles in January 2011. This is the first step in realizing their dream of owning a restaurant. After driving a truck for a year, they want to return home to the South and live closer to their home.
