About Magenta Theater
Magenta Theater is a non-profit community theater in the heart of Vancouver, Washington's downtown arts district. They are committed to presenting high-quality plays, musicals, comedies, and mysteries on stage. In addition to their season on the main stage, Magenta's improv team (MIT), staged readings (Black Chair Projects), and shows that are performed for young audiences (MagenTOTS) inspire young minds. Through internships and acting classes, Magenta encourages education. Additionally, they offer their stage to a wide range of local performers. Magenta Theater is a charitable organization that is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c)(3) and is committed to giving back to their community through community involvement and service projects. They rely heavily on volunteers for its success. Each show requires a large crew working behind the scenes in addition to the obvious requirement for actors.
