About Citrus Tower
Citrus Tower is a majestic and enduring tribute to Central Florida's renowned citrus industry and its lush subtropical woods. With the region's changing economic climate, the tower acts as a beacon, guiding a burgeoning business and population base to the scenic Southlake County area. One of Florida's earliest "attractions", Citrus Tower was built in 1956 on one of the highest mountains in Florida's Ridge District. The original floor plan specified a 75-foot-tall tower but upon completion, the rose to a height of 226 feet (equivalent to 22 stories). The highest antenna tips penetrate the sky 500 feet above sea level so they hope you can choose your favour.
